     Hull shape

The TR-3's hull shape is a product of 30 years of evolution. The many refinements introduced since this hull's original introduction have produced a shape that has worldwide acceptance. Empirical data suggest that it is the highest performance hull in use today.

     Hull construction

The TR-3's impressive stiffness is achieved using "ribless" construction, combined with a 40 foot one piece carbon faced honeycomb monocoque. The hull "skin" is carbon faced honeycomb with a 2 1/2" wide gunwale flange.
