The  Single is distinguished by its exceptional stiffness, instilling confidence in its ability to produce extraordinary race results. Meticulous and uncompromising attention to detail combined with refined blend of State of the Art materials and construction techniques reward its owner with a World Class Rowing Shell.

"I am very pleased with my Dirigo. I train every day and I row hard: the boat has held its stiffness. I would recommend the Dirigo to anyone..."
Dominick "Chris" Castellano

"Charles builds a fantastic single. It's very (very) fast. The boat is incredibly durable, simple to setup. Frankly, half of what's cool about the Dirigo is Mr. Dibble. He simply will not let a less than good boat out. He's incredibly honest and easy to deal with."

     Hull Design
Employs "coreless" construction (rather than honeycomb) below the waterline. "Coreless" hulls eliminate porosity problems common to Honeycomb and are much more resistant to impact damage. Further resistance to impact damage is added by combining Kevlar with the "coreless" Carbon laminate.
