"Coreless Technology" ~epoxy matrix~ vacuum bagged
     A coreless hull  (rather than honeycomb) below the waterline eliminates porosity problems common to honeycomb and is highly resistant to impact damage.  Models SLX and SE further increase resistance to impact damage by combining Kevlar with the "coreless" Carbon laminate.

0/90 degrees Carbon Fiber for longitudinal stiffness

     Hull Shape
The Dirigo hull shape is the product of 30 years of evolution. The many refinements introduced since this hull's original introduction have produced a hull shape that has world-wide acceptance. Empirical data suggest that it is the highest performance hull in use today

Molded with carbon fiber faces over Nomex Honeycomb and Divinycell foam core with an epoxy matrix.
