Speed
Dirigo shells have successfully met and continue to successfully meet the challenge. Proven hull shapes combined with proven manufacturing techniques and materials produce race results that help make your crew consistent medal winners.

Stiff and Light
Dirigo's exclusive "Coreless Technology" makes it possible to produce light, stiff hulls without the use of damage-sensitive honeycomb.

"Coreless Technology"
This is the construction of light and stiff composite structures without the use of core materials such as honeycomb and foam.

Early 1980's composite materials and technology required the use of honeycomb and foam cores to achieve lightweight and stiffness.

The 1990's brought materials that made light and stiff structures possible without the use of honeycomb and foam cores, thus eliminating the need to risk honeycomb problems such as :water logging" and "bond failures" and "porosity".

Durability
Dirigo shells are built to meet the demands of the sport. Our exclusive "Coreless Technology" yields boat hulls that will resist the common damage experienced with honeycomb.

Craftsmanship
Dirigo USA's tradition of excellence began 40 years ago with the company's founder Helmut Schoenbrod. Fine craftsmanship was inherent in his original wooden boats and continues to be inherent in the composite boats that we build today.
