Dr K on the St Johns

Rigged as a Pair, (64 lbs) or a Double (66 lbs), the Dirigo is in competition the world over. Even with their stiff design, these boats set up well and move smoothly through the water.

     Hull Construction
"Coreless Technology" ~epoxy matrix~ vacuum bagged
A coreless hull  (rather than honeycomb) below the waterline eliminates porosity problems common to honeycomb and is highly resistant to impact damage.  Models SLX and SE further increase resistance to impact damage by combining Kevlar with the "coreless" Carbon laminate.
